Alpwise showed the only Bluetooth low energy demonstrator at Electronica, the electronics trade fair exhibition in Munich held from the 9th to 12th of November 2010. Invited at the Booth of our partner EM Microelectonics, Alpwise demonstrated a Bluetooth low energy connection supported by our Labyrinth funny application.
The Labyrinth application is running on PC and receives data wirelessly from the ALPW-BLEEVB001 evaluation board and the ALPW-BLEM001 Alpwise Bluetooth low energy module, based on EM9301 radio chipset from EM Microelectronics.
The ALPW-BLEEVB001 evaluation board is equipped with an accelerometer which provides direction when moving the board, to control the ball running into the labyrinth on PC.
This simple application shows the interest of using the Bluetooth low energy solution for remote controls for consumer electronic devices and gaming.
